A pair of Stegosaurus leisurely walking while a group of Hesperornithoides bicker in the foreground

I just think everyone needs to see Stegosaurus every now and then. Makes everyone happier 😊 This is an illustration of my licensing library and is available for non exclusive licensing.

Being a science communicator sometimes means you'll be chugging along on a writing project and need to double check the details of a study on urban lizards, and end up googling things that your search history will never recover from.

One day, he'll live up to his giant octopus name, but for now he's just a little lad.

Did you know that Philadelphia was the first place people re-introduced squirrels into urban environments to see if they would vibe with inner city parks?

I think bobtail squids are too cute for me think they are intimidating, but then again I'm not a small crustacean.

You see, students, a fish shape like this happens when a 13 year old boy is in control of the fish maker, and you end up with a completely out of proportion fish. Students, fish aren't even mammals. Completely unrealistic design here*.

It’s baby octopus season 🐙🦑

Saw this little guy last night with the Salish Sea School in Anacortes, WA as part of their free community dock walk I volunteer as an interpreter for.

We can tell it is a giant pacific octopus from the single line of chromatophores on each arm.

Yes, we CAM! First evidence of CAM photosynthesis in a carnivorous plant
Evidence for weak, facultative CAM is reported for the first time in a carnivorous plant, i.e., in Mexican representatives of Pinguicula (Lentibulariaceae).
