Jinx is being shy tonight and keeping his distance, but purring after his wet food.
However, earlier today, Jinx had a bit of a socializing breakthrough. Note the shaved belly where the vet was getting him ready to be spayed a couple weeks ago.

Big group of surf scoters on Tillamook Bay earlier today. You can hear some their wing whistle noise (scoters and goldeneye make this noise in flight) and a lot of peeping noises as they talk to each other across the water.
