A bizarre number of people have stepped up to defend Julie Le. What you see in that transcript is an attorney who chose to do evil work—deporting people for ICE then moving over to DOJ in early Jan. specifically to fight these habeas petitions—being called to the carpet. She's desperate, not heroic.

It's fucking me up that they had to get publicity photos of young Liam in his hat. Like, the hat you were wearing when the state started it's campaign of brutalization against you has become prominent in the visual language of the anti-ICE movement. We need a picture of you home, with that hat.

I just tried to use a built in AI chatbot on a system at work. I haven't even tried crafting my own prompt, just clicking the suggested prompt. It replied with a bunch of industry standard text along with incorrect data from the open record.

i haven't seen anyone say this yet, but putting in Tom Homan makes sense bcuz it points out the obvious liberal hypocrisy with Obama, who had given Tom a presidential award. it's such a perfect encapsulation of the moment. liberalism, with its obfuscated State-run horrors, is the ground for fascism.

Didn't want to put this as a quote on last retweet cause I'm not hating on OP. But, I think the best explanation for why the Democrats are trying to contain and defang anti-ICE sentiment is not that they are incompetent, but that they are very pro-ICE.
