Sigh. Here we go again. It's really important that people are smart about this story re: Trump admin using Signal to discuss war plans.

The center-left media wants to make the story about Trump admin fucking up, which they did. But in the process they're falsely implying that Signal is "insecure."🧵

Who would help organize an ICE watch in central MA? I don't know much about local immigrant rights organizing. NC has been bad ass at it for a long time, though!

If the Depp-Heard fiasco didn't, the Blake Lively smear campaign should drive home an important media literacy lesson that I'm afraid many are missing: when it seems like everybody is suddenly talking about something, consider the possibility that the viral moment was engineered.

55% is bad at any time, but I hope the current fear of a fascist government means this percentage is lower now.
I maintain that if you give any administration power to restrict speech and information, it can be turned on anyone. A Trump admin would love this, wouldn't they.
A growing share of U.S. adults say the federal government should take steps to restrict false information online, even if it limits freedom of information. The share of U.S. adults with this view has risen from 39% in 2018 to 55% in 2023.

Find your local farms and farmers markets bbs. Shout out to Cotyledon in Leicester
Deregulation in food is dangerous AF.

If you're able, now is a great time to shorten the distance between you and the farm(s) your food comes from.

And then fight to put regulations (back) in place for all our sake. Especially those with less means.
