Our little foster mama cat spent the 4 days we were gone hiding from the pet sitters 😞 Now that we're back she's out and about, having a grand old time. She fits in a little too well here 🤨

This has been my first time back in NYC since I moved away in December 2012. Having lived in Texas since then, I had forgotten how claustrophobic it is. And there is an alarming dearth of sweet tea here.

The kittens made it into the air and are on their way to BWI! FWIW, Hobby airport was *fine*. In fact it was weirdly calm at the ticket counters and security (from what I could see). Man, these last 72 hours were A LOT. I'm still not quite calm yet.

The remaining 2 foster kittens are getting on a plane tomorrow to their new family and today the girl had to have a spay site abscess cleaned and I have been a ball of anxiety since yesterday and I NEED the airports to function tomorrow or I'm going to have a meltdown.
