The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds.

We have reached new levels of madness when an unelected, non senate-confirmed private citizen is overseeing an effort to overhaul or possibly end a congresionally mandated arm of our government.

Cleaned off my art/hobby desk yesterday a bit.
Today, I got to play around with more metal clay and some art pours. I'm hoping to post progress once they all dry!
Also, I finally got around to getting a small torch, so maybe the metal clay I have can finally be made into jewelry 😅

New hobby: playing around with Rebelle 7 and a drawing tablet because I can't take my real paint on the road with me.
It is really fun though, and they did a great job making it feel like real paint. (Definitely a learning curve though)

Some bowls that survived all the way to the glazing stage! Some of them are actually flower pots with draining holes. Get to pick up more of the last of them tomorrow. This was a fun class.

They seemed dry even by my instructor's standards. We're thinking I made the base too thick, and it still had water, even if the outside was bone dry.
