Our communities are already being forced to live in fear. Now the Supreme Court has given ICE free rein to keep profiling people.

We can’t and won’t stay silent while our rights are trampled.
Breaking News: The Supreme Court lifted restrictions on ICE agents in Los Angeles, allowing them to make indiscriminate stops based on factors like ethnicity.

The censure attempt against me has failed. Rightfully so. It was a baseless, partisan effort to shut me up.

I was not elected to play political games—I was elected to serve. I won’t back down. Not now. Not ever.

Read Rümeysa Öztürk’s account of her detention, it’s important
On a Tuesday in March, Rümeysa Öztürk writes, “I was thrust into a nightmare.”

For VF, the Fulbright scholar details what she witnessed in the six and a half weeks she spent inside a South Louisiana ICE detention center.

🚨🚨TEXANS🚨🚨

It's fair to feel disempowered today, but maybe call your state reps and demand they reject this bill, which would effectively bar minors from using public libraries?

A bill just like this one passed in ID and caused libraries to close to minors and has brought $$ litigation.
Texas! Remember all that calling & contacting & applying pressure you did to stop HB3225 the last time? You need to do it again bc they are trying to sneak it into a special session. Don't let them. You've practiced this now.
Stop House Bill 3225

The big ugly bill cuts Medicaid & food assistance, both of which are crucial to the disability community.

It drastically increases funding for the Gestapo, while also making the top 1% even richer.

This should enrage people on both sides of the aisle.
