-No10 has backed down over (some of) its welfare cuts
-Chief rebel Meg Hillier says this is a "workable compromise", and both ministers and some rebels reckon it's enough to save the government from defeat tomorrow.

Any Labour MP who accepts this is unprincipled as well as spineless. You are willing to throw every future claimant under the bus to save the job of one man, Keir Starmer.
I agree with this. It's unfortunate that the Commons vote was so narrow, so there'll always be "what if" questions, but the public consensus is strongly in support of the bill according to polls.
Here’s hoping MPs will vote in line with vast majority of public who support assisted dying. It’s had over 90 hours of scrutiny & has properly robust safeguards. To do nothing is to consign many to fear, pain & worse. Yes, better palliative care & yes, also, the option of AD @dignityindying.org.uk
