The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

IMO, Kash Patel may or may not be smart enough to intentionally throw this out there to scare people away from using Signal at all, thus pushing them towards using more easily-monitored digital comms in the demonstrably false belief they’re all “equally bad.”

Let’s not give him the win regardless.

People have had to sacrifice every aspect of their stability to hide from ICE. They lost jobs. They closed businesses. They used up every last bit of their savings—if they had any to begin with. And some people were taken anyway.

If ICE leaves tomorrow, there will still be communities in crisis.

There’s a lot being said about ICE paralleling fugitive slave patrols. As a historian of slavery, I think it’s far more complicated than most are articulating. A lot of historical context and power dynamics are being mashed up in the process.

Trump's biggest concentration camp in Texas is rocked by 3 deaths in 33 days - one deemed 'homicide' after a violent encounter with guards. The ICE detention death rate is 10X (!!) Biden's final year

People are dying in Trump’s squalid concentration camps | Will Bunch
People are dying in ICE detention facilities at nearly 10 times the rate of the Biden years. It will likely get worse.
