It was:
Rockstar illegally firing union members to stop the studio from unionizing.

it directly contradicts Rockstar’s PR narrative and confirms almost everything that people suspected was going on.
An anonymous Rockstar employee (verified by mods) has posted on the GTAForums explaining the situation at Rockstar Games

yesterday I got a new tattoo, my 10th! first time getting my fingers tattoed, and gods it hurted BDBCFJDJD but my tattoo artist is the BEST and my hand is looking SO GOOD

My right hand! I got a new tattoo on my fingers and the wolf tattoo I already had has had a little rework. The new tattoo looks like "infernal runes" of some kind. They spread from a circle behind the wolf to some lines on the fingers.
