Sometimes I wonder whether the internet should’ve actually existed.
Sure, it’s great for us queer people who can find each other more easily and learn better about ourselves but couldn’t we do that before already? (As a millennial who basically grew up with the internet, I wouldn’t know)

I hate going to sleep.
Why do we have to???
Ever since I’m 12 or so it takes me about an hour if not more to fall to sleep (that’s pure guesswork since you obviously can’t remember when you started sleeping or dreaming) and until then I just keep lying there with a brain that can’t shut down!

I started playing Tomb Raider: Legend again and I finally made a tiny breakthrough in the Ghana level where I had been stuck when I last played the game.
Bad news is: I’m stuck again as I can’t seem to solve the puzzle there.

I've literally given up on the idea that my mother will ever use my chosen name. It's quite a strain on our relationship despite her insistence she accepts me, and in the event of my death anyone listening to her over my wife would be spitting on my grave.

It is still wild to me that people empathize for the powerful’s sense of comfort and inconvenience more then with their own self worth enough to actively advocate for their own self-interest, speak to what they need and ask for even basic respect as a human being.

What this policy will do is wreak havoc on intersex women who will have had no idea they were intersex until they are forced to undergo an invasive DNA test. They will be disqualified and have their entire lives upended. Athletes have completed suicide over this.

If you don’t have access to a therapist, how do you battle depression, dysphoria and utter loneliness, especially when your friends are all living very far away and you only see other queer people once every other month and can’t really form a connection with them?

I know it’s never too late to transition and that this line of thinking is stupid but I’m 33 and in my current situation, zu won’t be transitioning any time soon and zu fear that it’ll get harder the older I get.
So I just need some encouragement as well as some proof that I’m wrong.
