Realistically? Build community networks. Research local charities. Learn low cost food recipes and make physical copies. See what services your library offers. Consider access to media, including physical. Find a rec center. Greet your neighbors, borrow things if you can. Learn local tenant laws.
if you were wondering how to prepare for a recession, the advice on the internet is “have a lot of liquid savings” and “don’t lose your job” 👍 very helpful, who could have predicted “having money saved” and “having income” would help a situation

It is reprehensible that this party is exploiting the labour of trans people to give themselves the veneer of progressivism without offering a crumb of solidarity in return, unless said trans people can successfully counter the influence of multiple people with institutional power within the party.

I will never use AI for my covers, editing, translation, or anything else. It is not only useless to me as an author, it is actively hostile and harms every skill related to book production.
If you're an author against AI used to generate writing, you better back everyone else in the chain too.
