It's important to understand that no part of their belief is rooted in any form of the bible. It's built around the interpretation they have been told and want to believe. The hypocrisy is the point because it's not rooted in faith but in ego. You can never be wrong if you are making all the rules.

I can understand why people dislike a Metroid game that is not the one they've created in their head after decades of building it up based on the previous Prime games. I have no clue if this new game is good or bad though because it has not been released yet though and I will reserve judgement.

I mean they should never win any copyright case anywhere. They've created nothing and stolen everything.

We are at the point in the NFL season where it's pretty clear what teams do well, what they do poorly and what the real odds of them making a run are.
And then? You have the Eagles. A team that is statistically...fine. But also like getting nails hammered into your nail beds.

This is not remotely representative of the actual industry. There's a million reasons for this but also: they did this survey in July. Even in those 4 months another large chunk of the industry has been laid off.

For the record, as a somewhat public individual, I would be rather less concerned with someone on social media saying "John Scalzi should meet a wood chipper" than, say, "I wonder how quickly John Scalzi's house would burn." The former is hyperbole, pretty clearly; the second feels like a threat.

He has been given the benefit of the doubt and various versions of excuses for years at this point but I just don't think Trevor Lawrence is very good. This is who he is. It's irrelevant if every 10th throw he makes is cool. The other 9 are dumpster fires.

I'll be honest: I was never a huge fan of the Metroid Prime games. Part of this is just the specific ways I feel towards FPS' and what I'm expecting and part of it is that the traditional Metroid games are some of my favorite games of all time. I just want to side scroll and roll into a ball.

I am not surprised that Nintendo has iced third party docks. They have long mimicked Apple (and vice versa) and without some governmental actions blocking their monopoly, it's highly unlikely that will ever change. At Switch 2 launch their janked up USB C was well known.

I don't get why people keep calling the next HL game, HL 3. That is not really what it's going to be. It will be a continuation of HL: Alyx which means it will, once again, be a HL2.
