Talking about the Marshall Faulk trade in discord and it ultimately worked out very well for everyone. The Rams got one of the greatest running backs of all time. The Colts got Edgerrin James in that draft and two guys with the 2nd and 5th they got from the Rams that got some decent production

I would describe Stranger Things like this: Netflix gave us a pizza that had 3 pieces missing. We hadn't eaten for a while so those first few pieces were ok, a little chewy, bad flavor profile but whatever. Then they made us wait a month to get 3 more pieces. They were as moldy as expected.

I would describe Stranger Things like this: Netflix gave us a pizza that had 3 pieces missing. We hadn't eaten for a while so those first few pieces were ok, a little chewy, bad flavor profile but whatever. Then they made us wait a month to get 3 more pieces. They were as moldy as expected.

That new Doomsday teaser with Thor where he says "Hey, I'm Thor remember Thor? I was cool for a movie or two and then I wasn't. Do you remember? The hammer guy? I'm Thor. Doomsday." was a little on the nose.

Jarrett says it but it is important here: people are well aware of the risks they take and are both better trained and also generally better protected then they ever were before even the 2010's. Ultimately, it isn't going to go backwards so at least understanding the risks is all anyone can do.

I never thought I would do it but I have, as of now, made my replies only to people I follow, that follow me or that I mention. As of this moment, quotes are allowed but we'll see how that goes. I have grown tired of people vanity searching random people's names and commenting when I did not ask.

My expectation is that Maye wins MVP. Stafford has better numbers in TD's and Yards and absolutely played a harder schedule but no one thinks of McDaniels or Maye's receivers the way they think of McVay or Puka.

I always feel that James Cameron is very, very open about what he thinks matters in his films and in his eyes the story is simply a framing device for visual composition. He doesn't frame his films'stories as mattering in the grander scheme and that really bothers people.

Someone I know was in late stage heart failure for years before they received a heart transplant. They wore masks all the time for a decade before covid, so the idea that masks were some terrible thing had never crossed my mind but also I do not have worms in my brain.

I mentioned it with the Lions when they lost after someone said "I can't believe they're eliminated" as if they have had years of success. They haven't but you can, with a few years, totally change expectations.
Last night the Bears lost but people were genuinely surprised. That's impressive.
