Yesterday, millions of people across the country participated in protests at roughly 1400 locations.

This is organic decentralized civil disobedience.

I really really think things are different this time, in comparison to Trump 1.0.

White parents should talk to their kids about racism at minimum because racism is a thing that definitely exists.
"White parents who see themselves as egalitarian must recognize that the stakes are now higher than ever. If you want to raise children who reject racism rather than passively absorbing it, right now, today, talk with your child about race and racism."

Why It’s Important to Talk about Race with Children
Children start learning about race and racism as early as preschool. Talking about race early, however difficult, will help them become more antiracist

Someone shared a video about Yuri Bezmenov’s “Soviet Ideological Subversion of America in Four Stages”. So much of it makes sense. We are well into the destabilization phase. The unconstitutional control of the press, of all media sources (social medial, Ai, etc), education & data sets compound it.

Over 50% of nonviolent movements to overthrow governments are successful within one year of their peak.

The key is to engage over 3.5% of the country, a cross-section of society—clergy, kids, grandmas, teachers) using DIVERSE & CREATIVE tactics, with women in leadership.

We can do this.

I confess this passage always makes me laugh:

“the ironic truth is that when Nazis rejected the American example, it was sometimes because they thought that American practices were overly harsh: for Nazis of the early 1930s, even radical ones, American race law sometimes looked *too* racist.”

Jimmy Carter left office in 1981 as one of the most unpopular presidents in modern times, seemingly doomed to be remembered as a failed commander in chief. His presidency is now treated more kindly by many historians, in part because of what he did after leaving office.

The 39th president left the White House with his popularity in tatters. But four decades later, he is judged more kindly, in part for what he did after leaving office.
