In my classes this week we did a 6 different styles exercise: Draw yourself or your character in 6 variations. I did my own self portrait along with them. It was interesting trying to figure out how my hair and glasses would work for each one!

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Went to my local library this morning to do a bit of research for my current book project and my goodness such a life-affirming space! There was an adult being taught to read on the next table, children enjoying story time, countless people taking out books. So grateful for our libraries ❤️
