I work for a well known multinational corporation that makes a number of household cleaning products. I can confirm that those powdered shake on the carpet and vacuum up deodourisers and cat litter tray deodouriser powder are exactly the same product.

I don’t think Starmer’s appointment of Mandelson is the big story. Sorry, but it just isn’t the mega huge deal some are making it out to be. Loads of people were saying AT THE TIME that M was a necessary evil to fit in with Trump’s people. I remember that much. Loads of people knew what Starmer knew

If I was Starmer, and if I knew Mandelson had a relationship with Epstein, I would probably still appoint Mandelson. I would have weighed up the feelings of victims, and the importance of having a familiar face in mirky Trump world, and I would decide the latter weighed more.

Weird and almost universal revisionism today. Even at the time, it was pretty clear that Mandelson wasn't appointed *despite* his dodgy links but *because* of them. Trump's Washington is a dirty swamp. Mandelson was deemed a man able to swim in it. This wasn't a secret. Everybody said it out loud.
