Note to self: the power transformer for a 70s Marshall has a funny lil trick with the power supply. The centre tap on the HT winding doesn’t go to ground, it goes between the first two filter caps. I know that now. (Fortunately it didn’t cost me £££ phew!)

Can we talk about making political party donations a thing of the past?
Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and shake up electoral law by allotting a certain amount of public money to election campaigns. Offset it with a reduction in allowances.

I can’t bring myself to believe Starmer is some kind of architect of supervillianry. It’s beyond far fetched. Granted he’s trying to save his own skin, but his premiership is preferable to Farage or Badenoch. Greens aren’t ready, and neither are LibDem.
