Not as a rule, no. Last year I did a big overhaul and went from the 2011 red to a white. Decided it wasn’t the right vibe so I’m trying green. It’s only two small body panels and a fibreglass cover which almost looks like a tank.

It’s that time of year. The Beemer is inside. Rusty pannier racks are derusted and painted, and this year’s body colour is an Oxford Green, topped with matt lacquer.
