Good example of how data-wonkery can smuggle in ideology. Centrism isn't "ideological" but everything else is, and exposure to "extreme" far-left views is "a problem"

UK banks oppose tax rise.

Falsely claim to be paying 46.4% tax rate.

The PwC generated number includes PAYE, employee national insurance which is paid by workers. VAT which is borne by customers.

it is extrapolated from a sample, can't be verified

Why do media reports not expose this sham claim?

Of course they won’t say “Israel violates ceasefire 24 hours after implementation”
The Israeli military said on Saturday that it had struck several Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, keeping the country on edge over a fragile cease-fire, as its forces pressed on with their campaign in Gaza with little sign of letting up.
Israel Strikes Sites in Lebanon Amid Fragile Cease-Fire
As the truce appeared to largely hold, a deal appeared far away in Gaza, where an Israeli strike killed dozens, according to a rescue group.

One in four UK households with very young children are in food poverty.

Low wages/benefits and profiteering.

Food prices generally up 19% in a year. Pasta and vegetable oil up by 60%.

61% of the poorest fifth cutting back on food.

Govts do what?

One in four households with very young children are in food poverty. Labour has no excuse.
This shocking state of affairs on child food poverty has been worsened by Labour's failure to act on things like the two-child benefit cap
