We should all ask the question: Where is Keir Starmer?

Absolutely ridiculous that Caerleon doesn’t have a railway stop. It’s 100% needed and ridiculous that one wasn’t given under the New South Wales Metro scheme.

One of the most important Tourist destinations in Cymru. It is also located in a commuter area. I hope sense prevails.

Today the order banning #PalestineAction as "terrorists" came into effect. But they are not terrorists. They are protesters trying to stop a genocide. This is a "first they came for ..." situation. Unless we stand in solidarity against this assault on our freedom, they will pick us off one by one.

While this government has ridden roughshod over climate rules and concentrated investment in London and the South East, Greens offer a different reality.

With support for High Speed 2 in full and Northern Powerhouse Rail, we demand the north gets the investment it deserves.

How HS2-lite and HS3 saga shows flaw in Starmer's levelling-up plan

GPEW supports HS2 in full.

Labour, in government, are killing off rail investment and focussing on Heathrow.

I take it back, there are Greens mentioning HSR as an airport expansion alternative 👏🏼
Proud to be standing with @carladenyer.bsky.social and fellow @bristolgreenparty.bsky.social councillors against the expansion of Bristol Airport.
The UK should be investing in high speed rail networks that interlink with our European neighbours, not more fossil-fueled air capacity.
✈️ In the teeth of a climate emergency, the company that runs Bristol Airport wants to expand it – AGAIN. ✈️

Carla Denyer MP and Bristol Green Party councillors have condemned the proposals in the strongest possible terms, calling it “tone-deaf and reckless”

Shame on this Labour government.
Rachel Reeves has confirmed the Government supports Heathrow expansion.

Analysis from @neweconomics.bsky.social shows airport expansion is unlikely to result in 'economic growth' and it would blow away the UK's climate commitments.

Who exactly does this benefit?

Growth for whom? Who will benefit? Not children in poverty or financially struggling communities
UK PM, Chancellor, business secretary order the FCA, Ofgem, Ofwat, other regulators to come up with ideas to boost economic growth of their industries.

It is a race-to-the-bottom and bonfire of people's rights.

Remember deregulation and the 2008 crash.

Expert after expert has said that lifting the child benefit cap is one of the single biggest measures that this Labour government could do to reduce child poverty.

Instead we get this performatively cruel nonsense that does nothing but appease the right who will only demand more nastiness.
Keir Starmer declares war on benefits Britain.

A war on the poor, sick, old, disabled.

16.1m have disabilities, 2.8m chronically ill, 6.34m await hospital appointments, 16m live in poverty.

No war on corporate welfare, no wealth taxes or redistribution.
