My read on it is our special little boy wasn't treated like he was our special little boy for the first time in CFB history, threw a tantrum and secured assurances that he will always be our special little boy.
the entire 2025 saga around this Notre Dame playoff MOU is just further proof that reading comprehension has gone to shit in America

Been trying to run this PSA as well
Hello, hi, I must point out once again that literally none of the issues on that false start/neutral zone thing would disappear if they ban the tush push and make them do a traditional QB sneak instead.

There were a lot of reasons James Franklin got fired but this was at the root of all of them
Waiting for the inconsistent fast guy to finally develop those receiver skills

I just think phillies pitchers shouldn’t have to throw four strikes in order to record a strikeout. I apologize if this is a controversial opinion.

We had an incredibly well executed recovery post COVID that maintained a high level of employment, quality of life, which firms immediately survived and we could pick up in '22 almost where we were in '19 with real wage gains and people fucking HATED IT and its basically the abyss for me

I'm just so glad that when I die people are gonna say stuff like "that dude was always late" or "he really thought he was a lot funnier than he was" and not "wasn't that the torture memo guy?"
Truth sandwich

The President does not have power to ignore the courts.

John Yoo and Robert Delahunty essay recently invoked Cambodia case claiming Pentagon "ignored" a court order.

The legendary Burt Neuborne sets the record straight in this brilliant essay. (Burt argued the case in 1973.)
No, the Defense Department Did Not “Ignore” a Judicial Order in 1973 Cambodia Bombing Case
I argued the Holtzman case. Nothing in Holtzman v. Schlesinger suggests that the military, acting under Presidential instructions, is empowered to ignore court orders.
