Bipartisan horror at @SenatorHagerty & @MarshaBlackburn’s greedy money grab snuck inside the funding bill— rewarding themselves for getting investigated.

Outlaw billionaires. No one needs that obscene amount of wealth.
Kind of wild that while food assistance was withheld from millions of families, one Trump-supporting billionaire (Ellison) saw his net worth grow more this year than the entire SNAP budget. And the YTD gains of the other four richest men would’ve fully covered salaries for all 2M federal employees.

The first and last lines of Joni Ernst’s legacy as a human on earth will be that she was instrumental in the confirmation of the Sec of Defense most hostile to women serving in military, and she knew that when she voted for him.

This likely won’t be the last intelligence sharing suspension we see over this - based on the publicly available evidence, these strikes don’t come close to meeting the threshold for deadly force.

What a day. We are happier with this compromised SC than we are with the Democrats in the Senate. 😒

Sanders: That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.

In a normal democracy, a total collapse of party leadership would result in an no-confidence vote and immediate snap elections to find leaders who can lead

80% of Democratic voters want a new leader in the Senate.

Does that matter at all to Democratic senators?

Senate Dems should take the broad success they had in elections as a mandate that they should hold out for what their voters want, or force Republicans to bypass the filibuster and let voters see what Republicans alone will give them.

So irresponsible. So very irresponsible. Sabotaging the renewable energy sector & boosting AI & crypto ventures has a direct impact on how electricity costs are going up. Those are both actions this administration has taken proactively. youtu.be/vir6DIkA8Ag

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

Justice KBJ is a brilliant strategist. She is working the rules to compel timely review of the stay in the SNAP case by both the Circuit Court and by the Supreme Court. This is why knowing which SCOTUS justice has supervision of the Circuit you file in is essential.

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
