I can tell making stuff on the internet for as long as I have has broken my brain because whenever someone said something out of pocket or a little weird I always used to assume it was a joke, maybe it didn’t land. Now I default to assuming they’re mean or hostile, and I think that’s a little sad.

KCD2 got away from me and I’m saving Yotei for January to get stuck into the edit. I might try release both before I get started on AC3, I think that’d be a good way to kick off 2026.

Can’t stop thinking about that finale man, what a fucking incredible ending. I don’t remember the Breaking Bad finale leaving me feeling this way. I love how BB ends, it’s a perfect show, but I feel so empty in the best way you can after finishing something.
Finally finished Better Call Saul… Kinda crazy to one up Breaking Bad but they somehow did it. One of the all time greats man, like god damn, what a fucking ride.

I came across a Reddit thread from a year ago where someone said they found my videos shallow, but they based that opinion on my Witcher 3 retrospective which I agree is shallow.
It makes me wonder how many people have written me off based on older stuff that sucks.

Yotei script is coming along nicely I think! I'm done writing about design and mechanics, and moving onto narrative which is going to be interesting to untangle and discuss but I'm looking forward to it, because I think my perspective is unique... maybe

Only 15 hours in but I feel Yotei remedies so many issues I had with Tsushima, while at the same time creates other “problems”. I also think it often compromises on its artistic vision for the sake of convenience or engagement, at the cost of important V I B E S. Will be interesting to write about!
