When your policies are being praised by actual fascists like Tommy Robinson, at some point you have to realise you're doing something catastrophically wrong. Shabana Mahmood should resign right now and if it were me as PM she would've been fired already.
Tommy Robinson is claiming credit for the language/policy being used by the Labour government (about deporting people found to be refugees once their home country is deemed safe)

Britain has always had an irritable puritanical culture, just that now that puritanism is has approached the realms of self-parody in a world that has long outgrown it.
I don't really want to dignify this nonsense with a response, but:

*porn is still everywhere
*you can still masturbate without it
*men are not the only ones who do either
*a once great nation brought to its knees by male irritability

The doctor's name is Dix.

Am I being punked.

All this makes sense when you remember that 80% of the anti-trans movement is bankrolled by fossil fuel companies and billionaires whose fortunes are tied to fossil fuels. This derailment is entirely intentional.
Even in conversations about saving the planet from catastrophic destruction, regressive anti-trans voices are trying to derail things by demanding climate agencies collect data about 'biological sex' rather than gender 📊🌍

Advocates say conservative states’ push to define gender as ‘biological sex’ would backslide on decade-old language within the UN

I shouldn't exactly be surprised that the Bluesky mods are defending Megyn Kelly and yet still I feel the need to ask, why? Are they competing with Elon to see who can climb further down the moral sewer?

They're just asking for another nuclear disaster at this point.

This is the politics of blackmail. The alternative is not a Reform government. The alternative is maintaining our international commitments to being a compassionate nation

Vote Labour, get Reform example number infinity plus 1
This is as bad as anything proposed by Reform.

Leaving refugees in permanent limbo and unable to build a new life in the UK would be a complete abdication of our humanitarian responsibilities

Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

That's what happens when a left party is founded as a personalistic sinecure built on outdated politics rather than a genuine progressive movement.
“An elaborate leftist self-parody performance"

Your Party conference this month was supposed to be full of hope and excitement. Instead, there are questions over how much longer the chaos-ridden project will exist

So apparently Metroid Prime 4 is bad because [checks notes] human characters are shown talking? Istg ever since the Switch 2 dropped it's like people on the internet have been looking for any reason to say the next Nintendo game to come out is shit. It feels extremely performative.

Honestly it's entirely on brand for the inventors of what we now call Mar-a-lago face to be part of MAGA fascist propaganda.

Humans will at some point discover that the conquest of death, or at least the appearance of having conquered death, is worse than death itself.

It's kinda hard to believe that in just a year Sydney Sweeney went from being performatively drooled over by anyone with a column to being so irrelevant her latest film flops. I guess it just goes to show that there was nothing particularly interesting about her, plus her being a Nazi didn't help.

A bit of an update on those petitions we all signed. The UK Parliament has decided it will debate them after all. The “Do not introduce Digital ID cards” debate is set for 8th December, and the “Repeal the Online Safety Act” debate is set for 15th December.

I'll say this MAGA certainly aren't acting in a way that signifies strength and triumphalism. Quite the opposite actually. This is a weak and incompetent movement that is heavily reliant on projecting force and intimidation to stay in power, and that's not going to work for them for long.
I can't even fathom what January will look like, except probably very bad for the Trump regime.

Absent a major black swan event, I don't see a path to power consolidation for them at this point.

For a number of reasons, not just Epstein.

(Thread)
The timetable evidently has been accelerated.

What's your new predication for when we get to January?

I'll just throw a random one out there: They do release the Epstein files but only after Trump had time to preemptively pardon himself and he tells his base he had to cause it was a Dem smear job.
