I don't disagree with this.
However, as someone who was constantly criticized on their strengths as a kid ("because you can do better") it takes a hell of a lot of work to deactivate that inner hater. And doing that work is not one of my strengths :P

If you consider yourself to be self-aware but are only aware of everything you need to improve & unaware of what you are great at/proud of, you aren’t self-aware.
