I’m Larry’s (rescue cat, so-called Ragdoll but not sure!) hooman and a retired linguist. Am in the Hunter Valley NSW. Age verification torched my other account so will be more political here. I won’t be offended if cat-lovers unfollow me!!

A Flower first for #tuxietuesday. She doesn’t ever go near the couch.

My house is arranged 100% for cat comfort. She used the levels on the kuranda tower as steps to get up there. She has only done it once.

Have a good day.

Bit busy at the moment. I rescued a baby kookaburra after it was hit by a car near Hepburn Road. Her working title is therefore Audrey. It can’t fly but it can jump from table to chair. Keeping it quiet and warm and hand feeding insectivore mix and baby mice and crickets. Hope to release Audrey soon

Does anyone have access to the cricket Australia schedule from the 90s? I’m sure we had more cricket than just 5 tests for an international summer

NSW Police Commissioner announces extension to anti-protest laws for another two weeks, saying publicly protesting about anything is “divisive” and could make “some people” “absolutely upset”.

‘Some people’s’ feelings now outweigh the right to protest in NSW? Yikes 🙄 #auspol

I was in San Francisco in 2012 when my data apparently got scooped up in the Cambridge Analytica fiasco. I signed on to that class action and now have a AUD$34 gift card, courtesy of Zuck and what's left of the American legal system.

It's worth noting that this has occurred on the home ground of Banyule Cricket Club, who hold the world record for most runs off a single ball - 17, when a ball got lost in long grass in the outfield. Perfect opportunity to break their own record!
