i could've told you years ago that gerry connolly would pick james walkinshaw to replace him in congress. this isn't democracy, it's political concentration of power going back decades from connolly's years in Fairfax Co govt, to sharon bulova's tenure, to the connolly machine setting up walkinshaw.

Last night DC neighbors showed up at a police checkpoint at 14th & V ST. NW with handwritten signs warning drivers to avoid the block.

After realizing that the community was successfully diverting all traffic, agents packed up the checkpoint and left. #WeKeepUsSafe
