While Americans are chuntering about the age of consent because of Epstein, remember that child marriage is currently legal in 34 states, and 4 U.S. states do not require any minimum age for marriage, with a parental or judicial waiver.

We have compulsory preferential voting = rank the candidates in order of preference. We also vote on Saturdays, with two weeks of pre-polling for people who can't vote on the day. The electoral commission send people into hospitals to collect votes.

Life can make ANYONE go broke.
And ACA and SNAP benefits were how I survived long enough to rebuild.
