Perhaps you’d like to be taken to dinner first before licking Alexander Skarsgård's boots in an alley, but PILLION is about his submissive's needs — specifically his need to please — and we're challenged to root for his bliss.

"Harry Potter" alum Harry Melling gets into some hairy situations as a submissive enthralled by Alexander Skarsgård's gruff biker daddy.

I tried to put down in words what it was like to attend the the decidedly melancholy 2026 Sundance Film Festival. A sampling of the tremendous movies I highlight: BEDFORD PARK, JOYBUBBLES, THE OLDEST PERSON IN THE WORLD, THE FRIEND’S HOUSE IS HERE. Please have a gander.

In my first piece for Sphaera, I wrote about why there are less U.S. Latino films than Latin American ones. And the hope that the global interest in Latin music can eventually extend to Latino film. Wrote this before Bad Bunny’s Grammy win.

THE STRANGERS - CHAPTER 3 has finally been unleashed, and I can finally say with confidence that all Renny Harlin's three-film reboot accomplished was making THE STRANGERS three times longer, and very bad.

My review of the best film in Harlin's trilogy - which still stinks! - is at @thewrap.com.
‘The Strangers — Chapter 3’ Review: The Best Film in the Reboot Trilogy Is Still Bad
Renny Harlin’s ill-advised, multi-film “The Strangers” series was torture, in all the wrong ways. This one is better but still bad.

The Amazon Original rom-com RELATIONSHIP GOALS isn't a real rom-com, it's a commercial for a real-life relationship book that Amazon wants you to buy. From Amazon. Right now.

I’m hesitant to call MELANIA propaganda because I can’t imagine anyone watching this movie and thinking that Melania Trump comes off well.

If it had subversive designs of being a satire about the first lady, there’s not much it would have changed.

THE MOMENT is a satire that feels like a snuff film.

When you’re at the top, as Charli XCX was at the peak of “brat summer,” the only path ahead is a tightrope between cool and cringe.

So she’s made a movie about her urge to jump. Brat est mort, vive le brat!
