For upcoming travel, even domestically, I'm considering replacing my standard phone with a burner. Or at least one that has the barest minimum amount of personal data. Even if they negate my 4th amendment rights and gain access to the phone, they'll only get cat pictures and streudel recipes.

This sort of thinking isn't constructive. T has been in office for 3 months. In that time he has done more damage to the US in terms of economics, rule of law, and stability than anyone in the history of the country.

And your advice is "Wait 3.5 more years? He'll get his!"

I agree with this in spirit. My only concern is this just leaves the musklings and magaheads in their echo chamber of mutually supportive hatespeech. If you do stay on X, fight. Be the voice of reason and sanity and clarity. But I agree, do not give them content or legitimacy.

This should be terrifying to every american citizen. If you make yourself visibile, if you call attention to yourself, if you do anything the administration considers undermining their authority, you will be targeted, you will be harrassed, and you will be harmed.

What's more appallng is the analysis used for how he came to this conclusion, it's absolute garbage. They queried a citizen database and asked how many people had no records of death. Anyone not marked as dead must be getting SSA checks!
