I need people to wrap their minds around the fact that here in Minneapolis, ICE broke the window of a vehicle yesterday, pepper sprayed the occupants, and arrested them, and shot another observer in the face today, and OBSERVERS ARE STILL GOING OUT TO PROTECT THEIR NEIGHBORS AT MASSIVE PERSONAL RISK

local public radio is an incredible resource and there are amazing reporters on the ground right now -- and you can stream MPR live.
Worth noting that Minnesota Public Radio is NOT doing that. They're interviewing people on the ground, chasing down witnesses and facts, and treating ICE statements with the appropriate amount of skepticism.
Sigh. The NPR national news brief at the top of the hour mentioned the shooting and simply cited the DHS statement.

Yet another martyr in the fight to protect our rights. I hope the murderer is prosecuted to the full extent. Of course, our so-called Justice Dept won't do that, so I suppose it will be up to local and/or state law enforcement.
ICE just murdered a woman here in Minneapolis. A legal observer. Shot her multiple times while she drove away as ordered. She was a US citizen.

There are enough seconds in the day to talk about more than one thing. He's deeply unpopular and quite obviously lawless while doing massive harm to people across the political spectrum. There was a reason the Republicans didn't want Jack Smith's testimony public or released in prime time.

And in the sense that shit rolls downhill, I think non-MAGA voters s/b finding ways to make those MAGA voters experience our anger and frustration personally in ways that are unpleasant. Think that would work? Ditto to the gop congress/senators bc they're really the only entity to stop it.
