I don't know why they left after being denied, though. The correct answer is "you have no authority to deny me entrance. Call your superior immediately, I will not be leaving" and then you fucking camp there.
And here in NYC today another shocking escalation by Trump.

The law *explicitly allows* unannounced visits by congressmembers to federal facilities.

This is yet another breach of democratic norms by an increasingly rogue administration. Don't normalize this.

Whether this is real or not (and I really hope it is), this is absolutely something that every store on the planet should be doing.

Anything that's just going to be thrown out should be given away for free, always. There needs to be a legal liability waiver for shit like this so companies do it.
Hope anyone in need or homeless sees this

So, we need to get very loud about something:

There are at least 16 people dead directly because of cuts to the National Weather Service and NOAA.

A tornado went *unwarned* in a major community for over 30 minutes last night. No sirens, no alerts. Multiple people are dead.

This is Trump's fault.

Missouri Senate Republicans invoked a rarely used rule to repeal the abortion rights amendment and the paid sick leave law approved by voters in November.

On both counts, the state GOP overturned the will of the people.

Physical tactile buttons just make so much more sense when you're driving a 2000-5000lb death machine at dangerously high speeds, and we need to put literally everything into this perspective and remember it forever.

Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars.

Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses. Real buttons are sooooooo back baby!
