Hello, it's me. I'm the one training the resistance in the diabolically professional OPSEC of setting disappearing messages in the Signal group chat.

Stingrays do not have Bluetooth attack capability. Period. That is not a thing. They do not work like that.

If you get a security alert that looks like a chain letter that tells you this, you should take it about as seriously as any other chain letter you receive, which is to say not at all

While the pasty incels who work the federal agencies continue to churn out feeble, bloodless AI pastiches of Axis propaganda, here’s how a living breathing artist powerfully invokes design history. This is by illustrator Emily K in South Philly, a free poster-sized download on her website: →

Security folklore of the morning is that no one should share URLs on Signal because it exposes IP addresses and people should use QR codes instead. Please don’t do this! QR codes are much less secure. If you’re concerned about link security, turn off link previews which you can do in Signal settings

I've mostly made bad food decisions, but a bit of electrical work and I managed to break a chair. Happy New Year!

Had a issue where I went to out of town, my internet had gone out. So decided to resurrect an old failed APC AP9217 MasterSwitch PDU. Ripped out the dead electronics and replaced with a relay module and a pi zero with an ethernet addon board. And with some Python code it can power cycle the modem.

Conventions, if you use AI do not be surprised if creators turn down your invitations to be guests or even to be on panels.

Do not use tools trained on stolen work from creators and then tell them you want to honor or uplift them - that’s not what you’re doing. You’re stealing and being lazy.
