You know what makes me beyond pissed? I’ve been using en-dashes and em-dashes in my writing FOR YEARS (it’s sort of “my thing”). Now, apparently all of these chat bots and LLMs use them so much in their responses that my beloved dashes are considered a sign that AI may have drafted the text.

I’m in need of a haircut in a very serious way. Despite my best efforts, I wake up with the beginning stages of dreadlocks. Part of me thinks I should just go with it. Then I remember that lawyers with dreadlocks aren’t looked upon kindly. So haircut it is.

The plants on my balcony are in a weird state because they almost seem to know they should be dead and/or dying, but are still alive because it is unseasonably warm…and I’m not sure whether to water them, or if it’s giving them false hope.

Sometimes I feel like my cats are the only thing truly anchoring me to this earth. At first, I questioned if this was pathetic. But then I realized that it’s not, because at least I have them. Some people don’t feel anchored to anything.

I’ve spent a not insignificant chunk of my Saturday performing serious maintenance to my roomba because, even though it’s like 8 years old and basically on the verge of failure, I’m too stubborn to get a new one. It’s crazy how opening this thing up shows just how much cat hair is in every crevice.
