Gah! I just remembered that one of the cargo bikes I sold is someone’s Christmas present today!!!

I hope they love it and it brings them as much joy as it did for us. 🎄✨🎁
Someone got the best thing ever for Christmas (IMHO)

Think about your holiday/break plans.

Across Minneapolis, too many of our neighbors will be holed up indoors (many with young kids) because it isn’t safe for them to go to work, shop for groceries, take their kids to the playground, shovel snow, etc.

Check in with your neighbors.
Help if you can.

I loved Princess Bride and Spinal Tap, but I had no idea that Rob Reiner was also such a major figure in marriage equality protections.

Learned a lot from this thread 🧵

What you’re seeing about trans people today isn’t organic outrage. It’s an assembly line. Same phrases. Same moral framing. Same escalation. Different accounts. Same day. Once you see the pattern, the spell breaks. #Voices4Victory #DV1 #ProudBlue #USDemocracy 12/13/25 AM

As both a teacher and a parent, I see every day how challenging it can be for families to figure out how to give their children real freedom in the world. Again and again, the #BikeBus shows me that it is one of the best tools we have for scaffolding independence.

THOMPSON: What does that mean?

Perhaps a more appropriate question is: would you want someone to do this to you once you’re dead? I sure don’t. Please don’t ever do this to me. Death is a part of the human experience, and all of the grief and long that comes with it.

Plowed protected bike lanes show how transformative #PlowTheSidewalks could be.

On streets like Milwaukee with plowed protected bike lanes, there is an alternative when a business shirks their legal & moral responsibilities after a snowfall.

Most discussions about “misinformation” treat the problem as if people simply don’t have good enough critical-thinking skills. It sounds intuitive, but it’s not entirely accurate. The problem isn’t just individual ignorance, it’s the structure of the information environment people are placed into.

End of an era for this bike + me. Had to pull over on my last ride to mark the 1700 miles 🎉 such a beautiful snowy ride for the occasion before it joins its new family.

10/10 would buy another @bunchbike.com

Was pretty sloppy on the side streets so once I hit the plowed bike lanes, I was so happy… until this.

Someone *shoved* all of the sidewalk snow into the freshly plowed bike lanes. 😒 Astonishing. Might not look like much but this completely blocked my cargo bike (zoom in).

Beautiful night for a snowy bike ride. Look at that Minneapolis skyline. 😍

It's really frustrating that a lot of the media just sort of frames the Trump admin as "wading into a hot debate over trans issues that have roiled american politics" when it's like, clear that they are motivated by a desire to demean trans people

Prediction markets are good at distilling information and surfacing truth to people? This is a new consumer habit? 😳

And this tradeable asset is actually people disagreeing? So 2016-2025 but make it bets? 😳

And it will be bigger than the stock market? 😳

The best part is seeing what happens when you give children a joyful way to start their day. They show up energized, confident, and connected. This is what happens when streets feel welcoming and movement is part of the morning routine. #BikeBus

2300 in the last 10 years, but the vast majority in just the last three years. This is a targeted hate campaign for political gain.
People are surprised when I tell them there have been over 2300 anti-trans legislation introduced. Missouri is ground zero for these attacks. Many states copy/paste language.

1. Missouri prefiled bills are in, and the anti-trans panic continues.

One even goes as far as to ban social transition in schools.

Any teacher who "supports" it, including name changes, pronouns, or "treatment," would be fired.

Even with parent permission!

New Missouri Bill Would Ban "Social Transition" In Schools, Even With Parental Permission
The bill defines social transition as name changes and pronouns, and would disallow any "conduct that facilitates" such social transition.
