This is why we shouldn't laugh at Trump's announcement. Made up categories can have a violent effect, that is how political discourse works. They know what they are doing, these are the mechanisms totalitarian regimes are built on.

Vielleicht sollte uns gar nicht so sehr die AfD Sorgen machen, die radikalisiert nämlich vornehmlich den rechten Rand. Die bestimmenden Kräfte der CDU versuchen aber die breite Mitte zu radikalisieren, indem sie entsprechendes Personal in Schlüsselpositionen bringen. Das ist weitaus gefährlicher.
