Today is the last day before the big hike in fees charged by the Probate Search service for copies of England & Wales wills dating from 1858 to the present. I think I am now done with ordering, for my #OnePlaceStudies and my own #FamilyHistory. I won't miss using that clunky-beyond-belief website!
Another photo taken during my recent visit to Fawsley for #OnePlaceWednesday! With the cost of wills from Probate Search due to skyrocket next week (from £1.50 to £16 each) I've been ordering more wills relating to my Waters Upton #OnePlaceStudy people. 35 so far with more to be ordered.
It’s #OnePlaceWednesday! Wherever you are and wherever you are researching, for your #FamilyHistory, #LocalHistory or #OnePlaceStudy projects, we hope you’re having a great week. I am lucky to be a guest on the Family Histories Podcast, season 10.

It is my first podcast appearance. A bit daunting, but Andrew quickly settled my nerves.

It was fun and presented me with a different way of reflecting on my research.

I won a year's subscription to Storied (Ultimate plan)!

It was a door prize at the APG Professional Management Conference.

Have any of you tried Storied? Any tips?
Is there anything you want me to try out there and perhaps blog about?

My parents spent their honeymoon near Vejle, Denmark. They used to camp in a tent there, but decided to get a cabin for the honeymoon.

To me, it's a bit odd to go camping on a honeymoon, but they had friends there and wanted to celebrate with them, too.
