How do gut signals shape motivation? After years of hard work led by the fabulous @corcerebrum.bsky.social, we show that ghrelin infusions increase hunger, food motivation, and FC between the hypothalamus and the striatum. This is driven by more pulses in the NAcc.

Die DFG begrüßt die heutige Einigung in der Gemeinsamen Wissenschaftskonferenz des Bundes und der Länder (GWK): Eine Erhöhung der #Programmpauschale ab 2027 von derzeit 22 auf 25 % ist nicht der eigentlich notwendige (30 %), aber ein wichtiges Zeichen für die Stärkung der Wissenschaft.
