Ended up being frustrated with Godot's spacial audio, so I coded my own. It lets me set a range, change the falloff curve, set it as a oneshot, and makes it triggerable via code (as an option).

In the editor, I have a custom listening tool for player simulation.

Inventory implementation continues! 😁

A big part of this project isn't just making and adding things to the game but also learning HOW to make things. Inventory has been pretty challenging so far but with enough practice I shall get it done!

Orienting a RigidBody with precision timing requires something beyond a naïve "accelerate-towards-target" method. Here's a slow-motion comparison between the naïve method vs. what I call the "Akira slide". Green line indicates acceleration.

My Plugin TileMapLayer3D is available for free. This allows the use of 2D Tiles (or any Texture) to create 3D levels. This was made for my own 2.5D Pixel Art project, and it's heavily inspired by Crocotile workflow. #godot #GodotEngine #GodotTips #Gamedev #Indiedev

Alright! Let's actually talk about this waterfall thing. It is an amazing showcase of many things that I adore from late 90s/early 2000s graphics.
I am replicating this in Blender through mere observation, so some things might not be fully accurate to the mind-boggling effects of the PS1.
