I’ve been trying to avoid AI due to energy usage. But I’ve been searching out a recipe my mom used to make in the 70s to no avail. She’s almost 97 and doesn’t remember making it. Today chat.gpt and I may have figured it out - and made it gluten free. 😭❤️🙏🏼

Sleep is essential — researchers are trying to work out why
A typical person spends more than 20 years in a state of dreamy semi-consciousness. But surprisingly little is known about why we need this down time.

Modern #woodyguthrie. This is haunting and sad.
This brought me to tears.

'Cause now we're great again.
Dissolve the law and federal courts
Defund the peer reviewed reports
Retract the hand that feeds the poor
The hungry ones can't speak.
So raise a glass to business whores
And autocrats and saboteurs
And text your world about your wars...

Perhaps use of #amantadine could be replaced by an another repurposed #antiviral #valacyclovir - which almost completely resolves my fatigue and balance issues AND keeps me from escalating to “progression”. We seem to have more issues keeping herpesvirus in check than influenza lol. #MS
This meta analysis of 9 randomized controlled trials of amantadine, sometimes used to treat fatigue in multiple sclerosis, is actually not effective. Perhaps it should be abandoned. index.mirasmart.com/AAN2025/PDFf...

Makes sense to me. Issues started at almost 49 and first neurologist told me I was “too old” to get diagnosed with MS. 🙃 I’ve been “progressed” twice and I think there is a big role for exhausted immune system - we can’t catch infections because we no longer have typical symptoms. 🤔
Less remyelination, not more inflammation, may be linked to worse disability in MS. This biopsy study found "fewer mature and oligodendrocyte precursor cells [pre-myelinating cells] in active demyelinating lesions" was linked to greater disability. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40167776/
