These are the exact thoughts I have in my head every time I finish a book, and they’re all lies because *I* care, the book means everything to me, and writing is never fun, lol.
if you ever do survive the first gauntlet of writing the book, you will then be plunged into the darkness of an even deeper void of who cares, the book isn't going to save you, and you're supposed to remember this is what you do for fun

Late to this, but if you aren't willing to stand up for trans people that puts you on the side of the villains. There is no excuse and no "strategy" that justifies it. Either stand with people under attack from the state or get out of the way so someone with a working moral compass can step up.

This is it exactly. Women are supposed to suffer and self-martyr for their offspring. This is the purpose of restricting abortion too.
Tylenol does not cause autism but *not* taking Tylenol can cause women to be truly miserable during pregnancy so you can see why the GOP is so gung-ho about this line of argument.
