ICE is a much greater threat to this country than illegal immigrants. The current administration ia by far the greatest threat this country faces. The problem is not st our borders. It is in the White House.

what replaces due process under fascism is the assurance of protection for favored groups. even though it’s precarious, a lot of people feel just as protected under that framework as they do under one with due process
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

I think it’s not helpful to repeat claims that the administration is working on eliminating “DEIA” as though it’s some kind of corporate strategy; just say explicitly that they’re trying to eliminate diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and explain how.

During a national tragedy our president turned his address into a political event. We lost a plane full of teenage ice skaters, their parents, coaches and 3 military members. They’re still pulling bodies from the river as he tells us it’s the fault of dems & diversity. This is where we are at folks.

We may have already lost our constitutional democracy. The president fired 16 inspectors general - independent auditors - with notice or reasoning. This is clearly against the law. He doesn’t care because the Supreme Court granted him immunity for official acts…
