I am at my ultralight nerdiest when it comes to audio gear, because I have to carry that shit everywhere. I normally seal my stuff up with gasket maker, and have a decent set up, but is anyone aware of light weight and robust alternatives to the zoom h6? Or XLR cables that wont die in dust / sand?

I was shocked to learn how many ppl my age have not done any one sport/art/hobby in their life for minimum 10 yrs w consistency. I hope everyone finds a thing they love enough to keep at for a decade, bc reflecting on it afterwards will instantly demystify skill acquisition + the myth of Talent.
