Thanks to @arikhanson.bsky.social for highlighting this in his newsletter. Media owners have not done themselves any favors. Billionaire owners think they have toys to play with and influence to peddle. They're ruining their businesses w/their egos. I am sad for the journalists who work for them.

So. @democrats.senate.gov @housedemocrats.bsky.social : you need to understand when seven million people march in the streets demanding change, that change can also mean YOU. @schumer.senate.gov failed those people. Your colleagues failed those people.
Dear Democrats:
Until you get NEW leadership, I will not be donating to you.
DON'T ASK for support, when, after so much sacrifice, you FAILED to stand strong. You screwed us & are now complicit!

Here’s the list of the eight Democrats who caved:
⚫️ Catherine Cortez Masto
⚫️ Dick Durbin
⚫️ John Fetterman
⚫️ Maggie Hassan
⚫️ Tim Kaine
⚫️ Angus King
⚫️ Jackie Rosen
⚫️ Jeanne Shaheen
Their excuses don’t hold water. They betrayed all Americans who were counting on them to stand firm and keep fighting.

Hey, so this is cool. Turns out giving rich people more tax cuts is enabling a booming yacht market. And all it cost us is a huge deficit, cuts to Medicaid, child care programs, higher ed, federal workers' jobs, research grants and lots more! What a deal! www.nytimes.com/2025/11/08/r...

Hey @democrats.senate.gov - A "promise" to hold a vote weeks from now means there will be no vote. No vote in the Senate, definitely no vote in the House. Don't throw away all the momentum you've built in recent months. Hold the line!
