Had another look at the the AlarmKit demo code and found a fix! 5.2.0 is now out featuring full alarms with lock screen and Dynamic Island countdown ⏰ also this latest version includes winter mode; allowing you to tweak the range loss for winter time charging 🥶 apps.apple.com/us/app/kilow...

Had another look at the the AlarmKit demo code and found a fix! 5.2.0 is now out featuring full alarms with lock screen and Dynamic Island countdown ⏰ also this latest version includes winter mode; allowing you to tweak the range loss for winter time charging 🥶 apps.apple.com/us/app/kilow...

Sadly this Apple SDK is a complete horror to work with so this feature is delayed indefinitely. It is either broken, the documentation is wrong, or some important bits are missing. Sorry.
It took a while but coming iOS 26 Kilowatt will finally be able to create actual alarms ⏰ no need to rely on local notifications anymore with the release of AlarmKit developer.apple.com/documentatio...

Just released 5.0.2 of the app. This version fixes an issue where setting the app to miles (vs. kilometers) in the settings would not actually update all the range calculations to use miles. Silly bit to miss honestly but it's now fixed!

Reasonably happy with the updated look & feel for the charger and rate forms in @kilowattcharging.com Both are now inline and using the same elements and animations. Now I'm thinking it might be nice to name chargers as well though..

The form layout definitely needs some more work but I finally got around to adding the option to add multiple rates to the app so you can quickly select the rates for your regular charging locations. Designing forms that don't look awful has to be one of the hardest things to do. Any input welcome!
