Working with Letta SDK is quite painful so far. Maybe it works well if you use letta code or a letta agent but using the SDK is just horrible honestly. I already got rid of the files/folders in letta since that was just unworkable, now also removing the archival. Just memory blocks left now..

The For You feed is overloaded right now. Please try again in a minute or two.

Oh! How cool would it be to have a ‘recommended artists’ feed showing you artists posts on Bsky based on the music you listen to fetched from your teal.fm records #atprotoideas

This is for my stateless agent so I will keep things simple, just syncing into local sqlite for now and then indexing into letta archival data, which should allow for simple querying (sqlite) and semantic search (archival search)
has anybody tried to do search (with an api or search interface) for their pds records? I'm thinking some sort of updating index that allows free form search. maybe index all the records into a simple rag? anything open source I should look at?

note to self: do not let yourself be lulled into using plain js it will always devolve into a mess. use typescript or something else typed always. /end instructions

Meet Lares - an open source AI household companion built on @letta.com.

Persistent memory, autonomous "perch time" for self-directed tasks, Discord integration.

Inspired by @timkellogg.me's Strix. Still early, but it wrote its own tests while I slept last night.

I’ve managed to nail down the conditions to replicate this.

If you’re watching a video in full screen and START to swipe the video away to return to the feed but /don’t finish the swipe/, the video returns to full screen and you lose the ability to interact with a Bluesky at all until a force quit.
Weird bug I’ve been dealing with in Bluesky on iOS

sometimes videos will just get stuck in full screen with no way to close them or use the controls, and you have to fully kill the app to make it work normally again.

Has anyone else seen this?

This is interesting stuff. Happy to see @kipclip.com find a perch in other apps as well.

@letta.com docs feedback. I think it's very unclear right now how document upload and retrieval should work with letta. when you search for rag you get a whole spiel about using external rag databases. but letta also has sources which go into user_documents. but then there's also folders which are..

I can heartily recommend everyone doing AI assisted coding to hook up their abominations to @sentry.io, this one button which copies the stack trace, formats it and does some nice annotation is just perfect to drop into Claude Code so all you have to do is just watch the machine go brr and fix it

There definitely needs to be some sort of community compendium, there is so much knowledge out there already, but it’s spread across so many sources: GitHub issues, code comments, reading the implementation.

Would love to write up a practical guide to OAuth

I thoroughly believe more people would build for #atproto if the documentation wasn't so dry and technical.

I learned more from @nickthesick.com's 5-minute blog post about lexicon publishing than I did from the official @atproto.com docs.

If you are building your own 'familiar agent' e.g. AI agents that help you complete tasks, remind you of events, or maybe even self improve like Strix (timkellogg.me/blog/2025/12...) I've created a @roomy.space group that might be fun to join 👇

Yeah this seems close enough for now while all the committees figure out the details.

Very inspired by @timkellogg.me's work on Strix. Super interesting. But of course I had to go and overcomplicate the whole setup 😅 Have base setup working with @matrix.org and @letta.com. Scariest design decision I made was to try and replicate claude-agent-sdk harness in a model agnostic way too

Phase 2 in reader features just landed! You can now have your saved articles (tagged with 'toread' or another tag of choice) be automatically sent to your @instapaper.com account. Great if you have your Instapaper setup for syncing with your Kindle or Kobo ereader for instance 🐔
