When I first registered at #authornation2025, I didn’t see the appeal of adding ribbons to my lanyard, in fact, I wasn’t going to be a joiner. That didn’t last long, go big or go home! Before and after. #therealbookfunnel #authornation25

Looking for recommendations of psych thrillers, paranormal, or urban fantasy

I published my novel Lander’s Gate and want to read ‘comp’ titles. My protagonist can access people’s past lives by touching.

EG: King: ‘The Dead Zone’, Koontz (Odd Thomas & Christopher Snow) Walhberg movie ‘Infinite’

Imagine this. I'm walking the dog, listening to a writing podcast with the suggestion to create a daily 'story log' - 'find a story every day', jot it down, use for social media posts, etc... then I see this (note, it is not Halloween) What would be on your story log for today? #writer #storyprompt

How often do you find a coffee shop that matches the mood of what you're writing? At Dark Hall Coffee in Phoenix, I've found my 'liminal' home for when I'm writing on the boundary of the living and what lies beyond. #DarkHallCoffee #AmWriting #Mytravelswithtea #Phoenix

I have a new project ramping up. Website launched Monday and we'll have the first of our free fiction content later this week.

Head over, take a look, and please share with friends ( acquaintances, folks you only see in elevators or enemies, I don't judge).

@weeknightwriters.bsky.social A few days since releasing my debut novel, linktr.ee/kevinsmoul and while it is difficult to focus, I need to write the next one. Today's task, take an apparent sympatheic and helpful mentor character, and make them a hidden antagonist with an alterior motive.

How do you monitor your progress against your goals? Sometimes, all you need is a simple graph. I had a slow start on my editing project but the knowledge of how much I had to do each day to get back on track helped. #Landersgate #ComingSoon #Trackbear.app #amediting #amwriting #booksky

This makes me happy in a very bittersweet way. The story is very much influenced by the last months of my mom's life.

But also! Giant snails!

An interesting pop quiz. I use genre to 'categorize' a story, not judge it.

I discovered Susanna's books via her current pre-sale - instead of waiting; I read The Shadowy Horses.

There's always a place on my bookshelf for a good story (add a ghost and all the better)
