as the outside temperature reaches towards freezing tonight, it feels so good in my bedroom. the heat hasn't kicked on, so I'm assuming the rest of the apartment is still about 65°F. but there's a definite chill in here, just delightful.
earlier today, i was uncomfortably warm. at 65°F.

Wait, so in the GDT Frankenstein he reanimates the creature by supercharging its lymphatic system and it gains a healing factor?
MY lymphatic system got supercharged by COVID, and we call that mast cell activation syndrome. It certainly is not cool.

i adore my mini Le Creuset casserole, bought for like $15 at Home Goods in 2020(?) when the stores were mostly empty.
but after reading this, I'm real curious about it! It's got the Le Creuset stamp and whatnot, but i'd swear it's ceramic??
(the size is PERFECT for one person + it's petal pink)

My most bougie post
1. Staub is better (if you don't buy the stuff that's like super super on sale which is really just the imperfect stuff under a discount)
2. Even though Le Creuset is known for cast iron, all of my stainless steel is Le Creuset because I got it on a ridic sale

For the evening crowd in need of… escape.
A reminder that just before thanksgiving, she was so scared and skinny you could feel her hip bones. She was very spicy.
Now she is a ball of purrs and love.

Here the story about my ban and why conflating HRT with GAHT is anti-trans and harmful
There are many misperceptions about taking testosterone — including among trans men — but the small amount Jules Sherred takes does not translate to bulging biceps. Those are the result of many hours of training, he said.
Changed Rules Will Shut a Trans Bodybuilder Out of Competition | The Tyee
The Canadian association that regulates the sport will no longer allow gender-affirming hormone therapy, citing American rules.

BTW, every week I publish a newsletter about movie mysteries called #SilverScreenSleuths, but I'm thinking of tossing in some book recommendations at the end of each newsletter. Do you have a mystery series you'd love to have spotlighted? Link me a non-Amazon link:

fingers crossed that I'm doing much better today. i went to do microwave quesadillas and was able to walk/stand for assembly+nuking, and didn't feel like i was dying when i got back to bed.
of course, that may be false progress.
