Snow in Summer is one of our favourite dishes.
A baked #gingerbread base of almonds, sugar and breadcrumbs, with sweet creamy 'snow' on top.

Entertaining Henry is performing 20-22 June at The Quay Theatre in Sudbury, Suffolk - three days, six plays, one king. There is a discount if you book for more than one day, and plenty else to do in the area - Kentwell Hall is down the road with Tudor re-enactments that weekend! #history #pilgrimage

My writing a few months ago. Augustino De Siena’s writing book is a beautiful piece of handwriting history
Practice makes perfect!
In preparation for #Kentwell1536 one of our #Tudors has been working on his ‘English secretarie’ hand from Augustino de Siena’s 1560 book.
Goal is to be as neat as Cranmer (or Cranmer’s clerk.)
