The trump admin weaponizing social security will encourage a lot of people to straight up commit fraud, and the administration fired so much staff, it'll be impossible to track how much or handle it

The IRS being neutral ground meant that even illegal activities were contributing to taxes. Now that they're willing to give up info, there will be far less taxes coming in from these sources, including undocumented immigrants
If the IRS deprives Harvard of its tax-exempt status, that's very bad for Harvard but it's also a catastrophe for the IRS. Instead of a neutral agency that enforces tax law, it will become a tool of partisan warfare. It may never recover.

If the Executive branch ignores the judicial branch AND uses executive orders to violate the powers of the legislative branch, we are actually no longer in a republic. States need to step up, or start planning on whether they want to be the united territories of a facist regime
