Unsurprisingly, Alien Earth has been renewed for a second season, which will be filmed near London in 2026.

A new overall deal will see showrunner Noah Hawley broaden his scope to all of Disney Entertainment TV, which also includes ABC and Hulu Originals. So more Alien, but probably Fargo too 🤞

The series is set to go back into production in 2026 in London.

The play is by Adam Browne and David Tredinnick, based on one of Adam's short stories from yonks back. It's like Waiting for Godot, but wetter.
I did the layout on the sumptuously illustrated book of the screenplay (shown below, & available thru the show); I'm pleased with how it came together.

The play is wonderfully unhinged and I have tried to make the accompanying book (for I did the layout and arranged the publication) correspondingly uproarious.

Pauline Collins has passed away at the age of 85.

An actress who was married to actor John Alderton.

Pauline was famous for Upstairs Downstairs, Thomas & Sarah, Forever Green, Doctor Who, The Liver Birds, Bleak House, Mount Pleasant and Dickensian.

Pauline Collins was born on 3 September 1940 and passed away on 6 November 2025 at the age of 85.

She was an actress.

Pauline was famous for playing Sarah Moffat in Upstairs Downstairs and its spin-off Thomas & Sarah alongside her husband John Alderton who played Thomas Watkins in both series. They also worked together on No Honestly, Little Misses and The Mister Men and Forever Green.

Collins other television credits include Emergency-Ward 10, Doctor Who, The Liver Birds, The Marriage Lines, Pardon the Expression, The Corridor People, The Saint, Blackmail, The Three Musketeers, The Avengers, Softly Softly, B and B, Armchair Theatre, Parkin's Patch, The Mating Machine, Country Matters, Wodehouse Playhouse, Tales of the Unexpected, The Black Tower, The Ambassador, Little Grey Rabbit, Sparkling Cyanide, Bleak House, Agatha Christie's Marple, Merlin, Mount Pleasant and Dickensian.
